Pop-Tarts were created by Kellogg's in the 1990's. They are a breakfast pastry, that was an immediate hit. The rectangle filled with a fruit filling and frosted with a sweet frosting fits perfectly in the toaster. It was fast and yet still hot, so it seemed home-made, yet it only took about 30 seconds to make. It was perfect for family's that were on the run. A grab-and-go breakfast food. It can also be eaten cold and at any point of the day, personally my favorite is the Snores and i eat it hot and cold at any time during the day. Pop-Tarts was a major innovation the the breakfast world!
